adapt

For over 30 years, engineers worldwide have relied on ADAPT‘s industry leading software solutions to achieve the highest levels of design productivity and accuracy in their projects. Since 1981, ADAPT has been the most popular and recognized software for the design of post-tensioned concrete. Now, ADAPT is as widely used for the design of conventionally reinforced concrete structures.

adapt-builder

ADAPT-Builder is the 3D modeling, analysis and design platform for ADAPT-Edge, Floor Pro, Modeler, MAT and SOG, and can be used together with ADAPT-PT and RC.

adapt-edge

ADAPT-Edge is a new structural analysis solution for full concrete buildings. ADAPT-Edge works as a stand-alone product or integrated with Floor Pro or MAT, offering the only fully integrated solution capable of detailed floor / foundation system design and building structural analysis for gravity and lateral loads.

adapt-floor pro

Three-dimensional (3D) Finite Element Software for Analysis and Design of Concrete and Post-Tensioned Floor Systems. Built on ADAPT’s unique TrueStructure™ modeling and analysis technology, this software provides a powerful, yet easy to use tool for the analysis of all types of slab systems. Unlike other 2D diaphragm-based slab design programs, ADAPT-Floor Pro‘s true 3D FEM analysis provides the most accurate results even for the most complex transfer and waffle slabs. Its Dynamic Rebar Design (DRD)™ module gives structural engineers complete control over the design and placement of mild reinforcement, leading to optimized designs. Extensive import and export capabilities further streamline the design process through to the creation of structural drawings.

Column design

Integrated in the workflow of running ADAPT-Builder models, the column design option offers an intuitive and easy to use solution for the sizing and detailed code checking of columns. It gives the flexibility of using a variety of loading options: tributary takedown loads, global 3D FEM calculated loads, or an envelope of the two. Columns sections and their reinforcement details are easily managed in groups, saving time when updating your project models. Generates xls-based column schedules. Key column design and code check status information is shown graphically in model, facilitating an intuitive interaction with the column design module. This module requires a separate license.

ADAPT-MAT

ADAPT-MAT is the most comprehensive three-dimensional (3D) Finite Element (FEM) Analysis and Design tool for Conventionally Reinforced or Post-Tensioned Mat Foundations, with or without Grade Beams. Using ADAPT’s intuitive and easy-to-use Component Technology, it is the only solution available that also calculates the required reinforcement at all locations of the foundation for you automatically.

ADAPT-Integration Console for ETABS

ADAPT-Builder Platform supports an open data exchange scheme. The data exchange scheme allows the lateral analysis (wind, seismic) solutions obtained from other programs to be exported to the Builder Platform for the combination of gravity and lateral analysis of floor systems and beam frames. For the more common lateral analysis programs, such as ETABS*, the data exchange feature is integrated within the Builder program.

ADAPT-SOG

ADAPT-SOG is a complete three-dimensional (3D) Finite Element (FEM) Analysis and Design tool for the analysis and design of post-tensioned foundations slabs on expansive soils. ADAPT-SOG produces effective, accurate designs with confidence. Other design approaches for post-tension slab-on-grade foundations rely on simplified and approximate methods which largely lead to overly conservative designs.

ADAPT-RC

Software for the Design, Analysis, and Investigation of Reinforced (Nonprestressed) Concrete Beams, Slabs and Floor Systems. An industry standard and choice of consulting engineers requiring an easy-to-use, efficient, and reliable production tool.

ADAPT-PT

Software for the Design, Analysis, and Investigation of Prestressed Concrete Beams, Slabs and Floor Systems. An industry standard and choice since 1981, ADAPT-PT’s proven reliability and ease-of-use have made it the most widely used software for the design of post-tensioned slabs and beams worldwide. It is based on the Equivalent Frame Method of analysis and leads the user through a simple to follow, step-by-step modeling and design process. Its unmatched ability to quickly produce optimized designs and quantity take-offs in minutes have made it the tool of choice for design professionals seeking to complete their post-tensioned projects profitably and consistently on time. Designers of beam and slab parking structures find ADAPT-PT to be the best solution for their types of projects.

ADAPT-FELT

ADAPT-FELT is the industry’s leading tool for calculating elongations, friction loss, and long-term stress loss in prestressing tendons. ADAPT-FELT readily delivers 2D and 3D profiles for both grouted (bonded) and unbonded tendons. This easy-to-use tool also calculates and displays stress distribution along tendons.

ADAPT-PULT

ADAPT-Builder Platform supports an open data exchange scheme. The data exchange scheme allows the lateral analysis (wind, seismic) solutions obtained from other programs to be exported to the Builder Platform for the combination of gravity and lateral analysis of floor systems and beam frames. For the more common lateral analysis programs, such as ETABS, the data exchange feature is integrated within the Builder program.

ADAPT-ABI

ADAPT-ABI is a general finite element program which performs 4D time-dependent analysis of concrete bridges and frames during and after the construction phase. ABI can investigate the effect of newly placed concrete, creep, shrinkage, and relaxation in prestressing over time, aging of concrete, and variation in temperature. Its excellent graphical interface can display moments, shears, stresses, and deformations for various stages of construction. The software can handle nonprestressed concrete, precast, cast-in-place, pre-tensioned or post-tensioned frames. The software is intended for incrementally constructed bridges and frames; retrofit of concrete frames where new concrete is added, new members are added or existing members are modified; and demolition (reverse construction) of frames. Other applications include composite construction and cable-stay structures. The basic module of the software (ADAPT-ABI Basic) is self-contained and complete. Other modules enhance the capabilities of the basic program.
